Elmo Loves ABCs

To access the Elmo Loves ABCs app:

• Download Elmo Loves ABCs application from Apple store or Google Play store
• You can use this app with any Apple or Android tablet

To access the game:

• Once Elmo Loves ABCs is downloaded, open the application
• From here, click on the green arrow button
• This will lead you to the main page of the game with all the letters

Structure of the Elmo Loves ABCs game:

• Letters: You will see each letter of the alphabet on the main page.
• From here, you can start with (by clicking on) any of the letters that you’d like, such as the first letter of your child’s name or their favorite letter
• After you click on a letter, the first task is to trace the letter your child picked with their finger

• The letter will turn green as a child traces it, indicating that they are correct

• Once this task is completed, three pictures that start with the letter you picked will appear on the bottom of the screen.

• From here, your child can pick any of the objects they’d like. Once they pick the object, a video about that object will appear on the screen. After you watch the video, you can drag the arrow down (on the right hand side) to the pencil icon to help your child get to the next activity.

• Once you get to the colouring activity, you can pick any of the objects in the blue box to colour. This will provide you with the colouring picture
• Then children can pick any of the colours provided in the white box above the picture and start colouring!
• Finally, you can drag the arrow down to the search icon to play hide and seek with all the objects. The aim of this game is to find all of the items that start with the letter children picked
• You can repeat these steps for each of the three objects as many times as they want! You can also repeat them for other letters as well.
• Sometimes, if children do not want to do any of these activities, you can click on the settings button on the left-hand corner. This will provide you with 4 alphabet songs with videos. You can choose whichever you’d like!
